Xiamen Travel

Last summer vacation, I visited Xiamen with my parents by plane. My English teacher once told us that Xiamen is a beautiful city that is worth of visiting. We stayed there for four days.

Upon arriving, we were immediately struck by the city's cleanliness and the pleasant climate. Xiamen is known for its beautiful beaches and the delicious seafood that is available there. We visited Gulangyu Island, which is a car-free zone and is home to many colonial buildings and charming shops. The island's scenery was breathtaking, and we enjoyed walking along the beach and exploring the various temples and museums.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting Xiamen University. The campus is considered one of the most beautiful in China, with its lush greenery and distinctive architecture. We were amazed by the university's history and the vast amount of knowledge that it has accumulated over the years.

Another day, we took a day trip to the nearby city of Nanputuo Temple. The temple is a famous Buddhist temple that is steeped in history and is known for its intricate carvings and beautiful gardens. It was a great opportunity to learn more about Chinese culture and religion.

Overall, our trip to Xiamen was an unforgettable experience. The city's blend of natural beauty, historical significance, and cultural richness made it a must-visit destination. We highly recommend visiting Xiamen to anyone who enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
