Learning Skating

There is a big skating ground near our school. In winter, I often go skating there, and I enjoy the sport very much. At first, I only went there to watch others skating. Some with good skills could skate wonderfully. I admired them from the bottom of my heart. But I couldn't do it myself. I was only an onlooker. How I longed to skate myself!

One day, I decided to learn how to skate. I put on the skates and stepped onto the ice with excitement. However, I stumbled over myself and fell down immediately. Some people caught me, and I turned red over their laughter. But I didn't give up. I got up and tried again. With each fall, I got better and better. Finally, I was able to skate smoothly and even perform some basic moves.

Skating is not only a fun sport, but it also teaches me many valuable lessons. It shows me that it's okay to fall down as long as we can get up and move forward. I learned to be brave and persistent in the face of challenges.滑冰让我明白了跌倒是很正常的事，只要跌倒了能爬起来，继续往前走，这就是好汉｡

I am very grateful to my parents for supporting me in this hobby. I hope to improve my skills and one day compete at a higher level.滑冰不仅锻炼了我的身体，而且还让我学到了很多人生道理. I love skating and I will continue to enjoy it for many years to come.
